I am currently studying how individuals and organisations assess the value and devalue of personal data accross different contexts as part of the Privacy Value Networks project. I am particularly interest in understanding the influence of privacy protection behaviours on the part of customers or citizens in the data quality of businesses and government agencies.
Other interests include web privacy and how to increase it without diminishing performance or burden the user, citizenship and civic participation in the web and preserving and promoting info diversity in the web in the face of growing search engine control over what information we see.
